The Duluth Co-op assists with the most essential needs for homeless individuals: food and shelter. Additionally, we partner with local organizations to coordinate clothing assistance and furniture for our clients. We also work to provide life-transforming programs that will help people gain the skills they need to create a better life for themselves and their loved ones. We rely on support from everyday people like you—and your generosity makes a huge impact!
Last year, you helped us provide over 23,000 people with food and 685 families with rent and utility assistance to prevent homelessness in our community. In addition we provided families in need with school supplies, holiday programs, clothing & furniture referrals, gas cards to get to work and Lyft rides to the Co-op.
This past year, we introduced English as Second Language (ESOL), and Budgeting classes. We also partnered with Better Help Gwinnett to help our clients find jobs.
In a recent week we served 187 families all seeking food.
Donate Funds
We are always in need of financial support. Over 50% of the food we distribute to those in need are purchased. To do that we need funding. When we assist with Rent or Mortgage assistance we need donations to fund this. Our needs for funding exceed $500,000 each year.
You can use the Donate Now button below for link below to go to our secure giving site.

Host a Food Drive
Thank you for your interest in hosting a food drive for the Duluth Co-op! Food drives are a great way to raise awareness about hunger in our community. We rely on food drives organized by schools, churches, businesses, civic groups and neighborhoods to keep our pantry shelves stocked. Without this support we would not be able to serve all those in need.Contact us at 770-623-9563 for details or email us at info@duluthco-op.org..
