About Us
Who We Are
Hands of Christ – Duluth Co-op is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1992 by a coalition of local churches in Duluth, Georgia. Recognizing that no single congregation could meet the growing needs of local families alone, these churches joined together to create one cooperative ministry dedicated to serving neighbors in times of need.
More than three decades later, Hands of Christ remains a community-wide collaboration supported by local churches, businesses, schools, civic organizations, volunteers, and generous donors. By bringing together people and resources from across the community, we are able to respond to the needs of our neighbors with compassion, dignity, and respect.
What began as a shared commitment among a handful of churches has grown into a trusted community resource, united by the belief that when a community works together, it can make a lasting difference in the lives of local families.
1 Peter 4:10
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
